Pioneer MIXTRAX CAR CD Receiver and Pioneer MIXTRAX CAR AV Receiver and App MixTrax for iPod iPhone is available on a host of products and will take the tracks on your iPhone and create nonstop playlists with added mix effects using the power of our legendary PioneerDJ technology. It’s also included in several car audio products to turn your car stereo into a virtual DJ.

All in all, Pioneer’s expertise in the pro DJ world clearly shines through in this product. The software is as close as it gets to having a personal DJ at your command, and because of it, house parties, long drives and sessions at the gym may never be the same, particularly if you enjoy the type of music spinners mix on a regular basis. It won’t make miracles though out of your massive collection of grunge, gospel, or a cappella, and it’s not going to challenge Girl Talk’s reign as the king of mashups — yet, that is.
Pioneer has also built a simpler version of the technology Mixtrax EZ for in-car CD receivers and in-car audio video receivers. The new in-car CD receivers will feature three types of DJ-style transitions (Flanger, Echo and Crossfade) and six sound effects (Backspin 1 and 2, Echo, Trans, Roll and Scratch) which are automatically added between songs for a nonstop, continuous listening experience.

The new in car audio video receivers comes with illumination buttons which includes two modes of illumination (defeatable), each with six color patterns that create different light effects.

Users can also select a Mix Style between Active, Standard and Simple, adjusting the intensity of the effects and transitions, as well as the duration of each track. The custom MIXTRAX playlists can be transferred to a USB/SD memory device and played through the products or transferred directly into STEEZ products for playback, which have 4GB of internal storage.
To easily and quickly enjoy nonstop mix of music, a simpler version of the technology called MIXTRAX EZ is built-in to several Pioneer in-dash products for both in-car CD receivers and in-car Audio Video receivers. MIXTRAX will be available this January 2012 on the aforementioned App MixTrax and Pioneer DEH-P7400HD MixTrax CD Receiver iPod iPad Control, DEH-P8400BH MixTrax and AVH-P8400BH MixTrax AV receivers.
